basicly im tryin to gather up all the currently used DataBases so i can combind them into 1 super database and i am also trying to do so with the items the one problem i do have is im a idiot and can only do this with the sql files but despair not if you have access to Databases or quicklinks to there downloads ect... i would like to have you post them here please i know there is no compleat Database im just trying to make things easyer on everyone who just wants to have a nice working server to do what ever they feal they need to and i want to make sure its known I Have Full Intent Of Crediting the origional programers and creaters of the databases i use to make mine and after combinding them makeing it available to the public

and i am fully prepared to listen to everyone that decides they are going to post hate messages because you dont like my name my spelling ect... and i am also most thankfull for the people that take this request seriously and decide to help and realize thats why spell check was invented

there is only 2 DB's that are currently still being worked on, the issue becomes, there not compadable, it would require more work then its worth to combine them ( due to NPC ID #;s, loot table, NPC spells, and a multitued of other things that are diferent)

As to the items, the Devs have the current item file, it is updated every time someone uses the packet collector, so there is no need to combine multiple item lists, just use theres.

ya im just running outa things to do and its annoying so i want to take it in my own hands if nessassary i just was looking at the server DB i have and realize it sucks because the npc's have no loot ect im not a hevy programer ect... but i want to learn how and guess thats the first step and im on the computer 18 hours a day cauz have nothing else to do( im serious) so thats were i am...

anyway... what are the most current databases available im trying to do this and since i have "bad spelling" it should be harder and you guys say there errors preventing them from merging so that makes it closer to impossable hense i want to do it for the challange :p

Myra's DB and MW BD.


The issue is there is NPC's with the same ID #'s, they both have a lot of the same zones spawned, diferently, and the mobs in those zones will have diferent ID #;s.

Also with loot, they both have diferent loot table, once again, the have a lot of the same mobs with loot tables, but they have diferent loot, there loot table ID # is diferent.

On top of that they both have faction, same as the other 2, diferent faction names, ID #'s and values, and just the name of the faction effects 4 or 5 diferent tables.


MW DB has movment too, so you cant change ANYTHING about there mobs ID #'s or it will mess up the movment of them,
I forgot to mention spells, they both have NPC spell lists which may be diferent.

AAhhh yea merchants, they both have merchants and the merchants on both DB sell diferent things the Merchant ID #'s and the NPC ID #'shave to match up.

What you are wanting to do has been attempted at least a dozen times since i have been here, and everyone agreed it is easier to just do a DB from scratch then combine 2 totaly diferent DB's.

I wish you lots of luck on this it will take you a long long time to do by yourself, expecialy because as they both update there DB's you will need to add there updates too.....

thankyou for your help as for makeing a new one compared to combinding 2 i would find that harder since i dont hold the knowledge of how to do that combinding them is just going and matching up id's ect... i eventualy plan to implament new classes and races on my server and ive found the codeing info i need for that and it looks fairly simple also so once i get this all up the way id like i might end up with what im after wich is basicly my version of Forgotten Realms AD&D it will take a little work but can be done and i plan to use the year 1377 as a base for it so it will be easyer and btw if anyone is interested in helping me along and helping code wise ect... email me at micheal.chapin@comcast.net but yes i dont know enough about it to do myown Database as for zone building thats easy with the 99million programs to do so and i personaly like the revamped version of zoneplus i got off kza. anyway yes if you'd like to help with my project email me at the address above and we can disscuse things and ideas i will also put my messanger info into my profile

what you can do is for each monster in a zone, go to allakhazam, check their loot, for each loot, search it in the item database, get its id, and write the id, the item name for each monster ( write the monster name )
do that for all the monsters you can or you want, preferably high level monsters for example =)
then send us your list, we'll parse it into sql records =)
