Default Login server issues

I have two computers I use eqemu for. One of which has been working fine, and the other, all of a sudden, slows waaaaaay down when I try "connect" after putting in my login and password. I'm not exactly sure what to make of it...any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

ummm not sure what you mean by slows way down.. what does, the framerate? the connection speed? the loading of zones... Please explain a little better.

When you use the program to host your server try click CTRL ALT DELETE (task manager) then, click PROCESSES, then click on the program you use to host your server on. Click SET PRIORITY--> REALTIME

This will put memory and speed into server

(works for windows 2000+)

After I put in my login and password, when I push connect or the enter key, the window slows down, and by that I mean the program pretty much freezes up, and the mouse moves about once every 20 seconds for about half a second, just bad lag, that prevents me from entering the game.

It isn't for any server in particular, it's just the login server. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling eq, but that didn't help any either :\

Well, there are a lot of variables here. What are the specs on the computer that is running slow? What version of OS do you run? What version of direct x are you using? Do you have the newest vdo and sound drivers?

I am also having issues, sometimes take 5 or more tries to get logged on. I am typing everything correct yet it says My logon is incorrect.
