UI Woes

Whenever i log onto any server and try to create a new character (Had to make a new account due to the 1017 error) the create screen doesn't have an Enter Name button. If I try to bypass it, the client crashes.

My UIErrors file shows the following:

These files won't patch in the patcher, and I have no idea what to do, so I was hoping someone else did.

Its a bug with the UI using 5.3 servers with newer GoD files (except eqgame.exe). Go onto a 5.5 server and try. If you patched after Feb 18th, it's broken again and you'll need to wait a while again. Sorry :(

You could try deleting your whole "uifiles" directory and then rerunning the patcher. Just dont forget to backup your eqgame.exe if you have a working version of it.
