Default Bugs while playing on my own server...

I started to configure my server (w/ minilogin) yesterday and just half an hour ago I managed to play on it, after beating the so-well-known error 1017 (version problems, I had EQ patched after Feb 10th and was trying the 5.3 eqemu version - Thanks to samandhi for repeating the same over and over :lol.

I tried to connect using two different accounts. In the first one, the usual 'eqemu' account, I created a froglok character (just because I was not able to do so on Sony servers :P). When I arrived Gukta, I saw no NPCs around, nor doors... I looked at my server outputs and saw that it was something wrong with gukta .cfg. I guessed it should have something to do with the fact that I never visited Gukta on Sony servers and that I think I never downloaded its files.... So I decided to try another place, character and account.

First weird thing: I log on my custom account and see in the character list the froglok I created on the 'eqemu' account Does it work with IPs and not accounts? Did I do something wrong when creating the accounts?

Ignoring that, I created a new character, a high elf, and entered the game. I appeared on Felwithe and this time there were plenty of NPCs around me I walked around a bit and hailed the soulbinder.... and not only she didnt respond but also faced away Am I that ugly? None of the NPCs would talk to me, and all faced away as soon as I talked to them...

Confused and a bit angry, I headed to Faydark (no problems when zoning) and started to punch a wasp. The wasp also acted weirdly, by atacking the air just left of me... anyway, I dunno how but it hit me every time :P Soon I realized my bare hands were not enough for killing that so I did run back to Felwith entrance. When I looked back I saw maybe the weirdest thing of the night: the wasp flew away of me, but suddenly it appeared nearer to me, and so it did until it reached me and hit me again! And the guards did nothing to stop it! Do they really hate me that much? :P And so I died...

... and then appeared on Kelethin. Why was I bound on Kelethin instead of Felwithe? Did they finally exiled me? Anyway, I decided to go up and have a look. I pushed the button and the elevator came down. I stepped on it and pulled the button and the elevator started to go up... but I did not The elevator went up just through me and I fell to the ground. Whats going on??

-----------------

Well, thanks for reading all the crap above  All that seems like bad character location info or a strange kind of lag. Maybe my PC is not powerful enough to run a server? I have a 2.4 GHz Pentium with 512 Mb RAM, a Geforce4 MX 64Mb and a DSL connection. Any ideas?

I hope this is not a stupid-like-hell question...
