Yes, post your loginserver.ini, db.ini, boot5zones.bat files, output of your world.exe and zone.exe processes, tell us whether you have tried minilogin.exe, does that work, is your problem only with public login servers etc, which guide are you following ? Sorry if you posted this info in another thread.

http://www.eqemulator.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13403 is the guide...

i havnt usded minilogin...Dontknow how....

my DB.ini is:

# READ README.TXT!

[Database]
host=localhost
user=Leaedas
password=etaris
database=eq
compression=off

### --- This file tells world.exe what computer mySQL is on. Host should
### --- be left "localhost" unless mysql is on a differant computer than world.exe.

My loginserver.ini is:

### --- This file tells world.exe what loginserver to connect to.
### --- Leave the account and password field BLANK.

### --- Public Login is un-supported as is LAN playing. We recommend using the eqemulator.net Loginserver ALWAYS.

### --- NOTE: You can NOT use the word "Server" in worldname.
### --- NOTE2: the word "Server" is added to each server automatically.

# READ README.TXT

Under XP, to copy and paste the output of your world.exe and zone.exe windows:

Click on the c:\ icon in the top left hand corner of the window, click on Edit, then Select All, click on the c:\icon in the top left hand corner again, and then click on Edit and then Copy. Do it first for the world.exe and then Edit/Paste into your reply, and then for one of your zone.exe windows (which should show as 'Sleeping').

Do you have router? If so what kind?

You might need to forward your internal IP to your external IP (whenever a call is made on your external ip, it will then be forwarded to your internal ip)

Also post the contents of your boot5zones.bat (before it is run)
