Question on LAN server?

Alright me an my teacher are tring to set up a LAN server in the room. Well we got everything workig on there but one thing. We can log in and see his server but when you click on his server and hit play it kicks you out. the computer that is the EQEMU server in the room says wrong name and password. Could you help?

Have you enter Login/Password info in your DB ? If yes, have you config your miniloginaccounts.ini ?

Tell me a little about how to setup a Database for the login if you don't care.

Alright i got to the Creat Charcter screen but then the server computer says i disconect when i try to enter world andd Info on that?

Hopefully you didn't patch your EQ client since Apr. 14. The Apr. 14 patch isn't compatible with Emu server. Symptoms are what you described - being kicked back to server select when you try to enter world.

try updating to the newest client, it should work

Heh, thought I'd clarify since the new 0.5.6 has been released. The 0.5.6 *will* work with the newest client (as of the date this was posted, that is). It just got released, so when I was saying "Don't patch" and Papi was saying "Patch"... well we were both right
