Weird
I log in, I try to join a server, and it says something about bad version, I try another one and it works. Then I create a char, and like 20seconds later, I go back to the server screen
Help

god this is gay, I get to the char screen, hit enter, and I close and go back to server screen.

like, i patched it, then did all the otehr shit and it's all weird.. it works with normal eq, :/

If you patched with the April 21st patch you will have to either roll back to the previous version or wait till the eqemu devs come out with the new version.
BTW this is in a ton of other threads. The search feature here DOES work you know :P

Hmm.. does anyone know how to "roll back" to the previous version? Gee, I'd sure like to know so I can fucking play. Seeing as how I just reinstalled EQ after a hard drive wipe, I had to patch again, so I can't really say much about stupidity since I did it out of necessity, anyone know?
