1017 error, tried local server, and lan server

Ok ive been hackin it out with my computer, router and server since yesterday. I can log in to the server screen and see my server on the localhost solution w/minilogin, but when i try to connect to the server its 1017. I can also get the server so show on the public list when i set it up for lan w/eqemu login. I have a D-link DI-704P Revision B1 router. I have enabled the DMZ, i have forwarded the ports, i have tried everything i can think of and still to no avail every time i get a 1017. If anyone has any help or suggestions or ideas on this please feel free but i cant think of what it might be at this point.

im by far not an expert, but i bet thats your problem. try this:

start zone . 192.168.???.??? 7995 127.0.0.1

fill in the ???.??? with your INTERNAL ip.

it should match the forwarding you have set up to that IP.

Nope still didnt work, got to the same place and yet again 1017, i have added the world.exe error output to the original post.

i had that same problem with the same error in the World.exe ... but got no answer from anyone on how to fix :\

what OS are you running? and do you have a router? if so what type of router?

You're connecting with the wrong EQLive patch. You need to wait for 0.5.7+ (after 4-23-04) and use live patch.
