Default Erm

There is no problem playing EQ or EQEMU on a linksys router and to my knowledge, there never has been any problems. Been using them at my office and at home and during Lan Parties. Always worked flawlessly. They work just as good if not better than smaller Cisco router, or Linuxrouter.

Been playing EQ via Linksys router for over 5 years.

Playing EQ on a router is not generally a problem but some people with Linksys have noticed in the past that their router does cause some problems mostly due to the standard setup not being very good. Routers tend to be much more of a hassle when running a server, especially when a client on its network tries to connect via an outside login server like the eqemu login servers.

Age of Empire.. i can't play on the net with other people because, quote "you need to set up your router to allow you" unquote... the "GM" type people told me that.. i tried calling and i got some guy that couldn't speak english well so i just hung up
