Default Error: A timeout has occured.

Can anyone tell me why I keep getting a timeout error? Is there anything I can do to fix this problem, or is this error serverside? Anyhelp would be appreciated. THanks

You know its really impossible to say without you giving us more information about what error message is shown and when it happens and stuff ebcause there are thousands of reasons it could be.

Default ahh k

Is a timeout error kind of like a general term used? I suppose i'm getting the timeout error because the server I try to log in on is max populated? I didn't realize these servers had limitations on how many can log in.

I'm getting the same (I'm assuming) 'error' message - simply states:

Error - A timeout occured

I followed this guide. When I try to login to a server, it seems like its going to connect, the buttons are pressed but then a short while later it gives the above error message.

Ideas?

Ok, I had the same problem one. Downloading the eqlsclient fixed this. http://www.eqemulator.net/eqlsClient.ini Copy and past that file into ur eq directory, and it should fix it.
