Can not log in please read

Ok when i got to log on the server screen here what it says

Error1001: could not connect to the everquest server! please try again shortly

when i got to connect to the server screen it says the same thing with minilog in please help me!!
i have windows ME 56k 236mb
what am im doing wrong?

your eqhost.txt file is wrong.

Ok i changed the Eqhost.txt using copy/paste and now when i got to log in the server screen it says. Error 1002:incorrect version!! run the patch program to ensure you have the current version.
Please help me!

Even when i dont have the emu running and i run eqw it say the same thing

you didnt patch did you.. read the readme AGAIN and this time start from the top and work your way DOWN.
