Default Can't Connect To My Server from PC1, but can from PC2...HELP

Hi All,
I just finished getting my EQEmu server running. I used Blastoma's auto install program so I have the DR6 version of the emu and the alpha 1 db from project EQ. Anyhow, I just installed EQ Trilogy and Luclin on my laptop and patched to todays latest. I then changed the datarate and eqhost file. Finally, I applied Scorpius' fix for the client and DR6. I was able to logon and play no problem from my laptop.

On my main PC I had EQ installed and did all the above. I try to login and get to the server screen. If I pick another DR6 server I get in fine, but if I pick mine I get booted back to the login screen then see the 1017 error. I even tried wiping out EQ and re-installing it exactly like above on the laptop. STILL I'm getting that boot out to login screen issue on my desktop system, yet the laptop is working fine still. I have a Windows 2k network and play many multiplayer games across my network and have users from over the internet also play on my BF1942 server, etc... Why will my client connect to my server on my laptop, but not on my desktop system? Anyone see this before?

Any info is appreciated.

PS: My EQEmu server is on a separate PC all its own, not sharing on the laptop or my desktop.

PSS: My desktop and my laptop have XP PRO

NM, I fixed it. I stumbled upon a post with mention of the host file. I checked the desktop and it was pointing to an older router IP that was used. I altered it and appear to be fine now.
