what's the deal Dev's??

When I started watching these boards year an a half ago, I loved how everyone just wanted to create a good emu for us addicts to play on. Recently I've seen many long-standing dev team people take off. dev/noob/, image, and Windcatcher are 3 that I can recall off the top of my head. I think there are several others as well. So, why all the hate?

edit-I just heard that windcatcher has not left, I just recalled reading a "goodbye" post not long ago. My bad.

Also, not triing to start a fight, just a silly poll...
