Default minor (very minor) issue with running speed

Just a note to anyone who's obsessed with quick run speed (like me) in eq. if you turn on the GM runspeed option DO NOT use jboots coupled with it. it will give you even more running speed, but it starts to tick away 2 points of 'falling damage' every step you take (approx. 10 hp per sec) as you can imagine, for some classes that wouldnt take long for you to be dead and might not even realize why. I havent tried it with some of the quicker running speed spells just yet, but its quite possible that sow or soc, etc added to gm speedhack will cause even more damage per tick. im no dev, so i dont know why its doing it, I just know it is >< thanks!

Default

I found out some more about it. if you dont have levitate on, it wont effect you. =\ i had levitation on, and had turned it so that i would remain on the ground instead of floating. and thats when i got the falling damage everystep. but it didnt happen without the jboot effect, if it was just the speedhack, it was fine.
