Please note: There are DB changes, new DB must be put in! Secondly, Verant has changed the player profile quite a bit, yes, that means player wipe!

If your file is corrupt when you download it, redownload it and it should not be anymore.

You also forgot to mention 0.3.2 REQUIRES the May 8th patch (current patch as of now). it would be a good idea to backup your march 22snd patch anyway, and also backup the may 8th patch because verant could patch again any day now.

Default a syntax error in db.sql

Hi. I am using redhat 7.3 and mysql version is 3.23.49.
I got an error when I was trying to import db.sql into the database.
I used this command: "mysql -u username -p eq < db.sql" and I got an error. It says that there is a syntax error in db.sql line No....(sorry i shut down the pc and not sure what line has an error)

Anyway, I used emacs and converted db.sql from DOS to UNIX. Even if I didn't do that, I had gotten an same error though..

Please tell me what is wrong or someone might upload the correct db.sql?

source it from inside of mysql... i've noticed some odd mysql quirks with 7.3's mysql version as far a piping in sql through the command line..

mysql>drop database eq;
mysql>create database eq;
mysql>source db.sql;

Default ALL 3rd Party Tools

Everything OLD that worked in conjunction with EQemu seems to be on the crapper.

By reading other posts it seems to be due to the changes Verant made.....and the NEW format for DBs and handling data.

Lemme know if anyone got ANY of the other tools to work with any success.

PS. Sorry forgot to say THANKS to the DEV TEAM.

Alright, alright. I suppose MySQL-Front isn't such a craptastic tool after all. This should work with 3.2, it worked with my copy of it . It's using Lurker 3.5's spawn information and items as well as Ariak's items. It seems OK to import account data, however I wouldn't recommend importing character data. The file is available here.

EDIT: If you would like to see the database being used, check out the E-L-F Server.
