Problem with some zones

Hey guys, me again

OK I have some troubles and seek wisdom and knowledge ! again.. but I think it will be the last.. for at least a couple times..

With hard work, and lot's of reinstalls, I have finally something that look like a server and his tools..

Got 7.0 server, with a fresh titanium install (found a torrent ! would have bought it but can't find where I live, and 70$ with 1 month waiting from USA..)
I also installed the PEQ editor (Apache.. PHP.. etc.. pretty hard but getting used to all these codes everywhere lol)
I found an item editor, well it crash everytimes I select a 3rd item in the db (but hey it work.. )

Well everything is working, starting to scribe quests, balancing items and zones, for a good custom server, am just too excited about it

But I have a problem, worked on it yesterday and almost all day at work, can't find out how.. why.. so here we go..!

In some zones, well, a good 75% of the zones, I have this trouble :

Aggro seems broken, as an exemple :
Citymist.. Lhranc scowl at me, et aggro me just fine, but all other mobs don't, even if I sit near them, yet they scowl at me all)
Maybe it has nothing to do with it, or it's luck, but all the mobs that aggro'ed me was dark blue (Kunark dragons, ..etc..)

Mobs seems to be running straight forward at low life, with no path, they almost always disapear behind a wall and I never see them again..(think it has something to do with .path files or something, I noticed an error in the zone.exe window, saying I miss .path files) so how can I make them, or is there a way to find them? is it the map files I heard about?? if so I followed tutorial and paste it in the right directory

Some zones casting time are broken, in Cabilis I can nuke fine, in Kurns, I have the 'you cannot see your target from here' message, and it's like that in a good 70% of the zones (maybe cities only work?)

Hope someone know the answer, I started to lose pieces of my brain, falling from my nose

Sounds like you may need the map files. Extract them into your eqemu folder and you should be good to go.

I get the same errror when casting in any zone it seems, although i only tryed 10 or so newbie zones. After i cast a spell it says "cannot see target". Anyone know whats going on here? I tryed a search and found no info =/
Using 7.0 PEQ DB btw.

If you had read the post above you you would have your answer.

You are missing the map files.


A little searching and reading does amazing things.

The problem here was a connection lost when I dowloaded maps.rar, and my maps.rar file was finished but only 80 mb

New download fixed it

Have no aggro on sitting, and only blue+ mobs aggro you tho, but guess it's the way it is, will live with it
