Me and my mom are trying to play EQEMU, we did a long time ago with no problems. I play just fine, no LD or anything hardly ever. Her on the other hand goes LD give or take every 15 minutes, sometimes more, sometimes less. Sometimes it isn't even LD, it just let her run around, but on my screen she actually does nothing. We have reinstalled 3 times, and I even copied my entire EQEMU folder on flash drive and moved it to hers with the same results. Anyone have any ideas? Yes when I removed for reinstall I removed every single EQ related thing etc, used add/remove programs, all that good stuff.

i'm no wiz but sounds like mom may have a lag issue if your both in the same home ? then could be a router issue. but sounds like you may not have enough bandwidth for both pc's or maybe not set to share the bandwidth equally a friend of mine set up mine for my sons xbox 360 and my pc he set it to give me more of the bandwidth for my pc than the xbox but not sure if this is your issue but sounds like its not with eqemu you have reinstalled with no change so i would look at your network set up hope you get it going

We have T1, we played DAOC, Live EQ, WoW, all of it together, this is a recent problem.

if you are using the default tribute, it will LD you every 10 minutes. Clear out the default 5 entries of clarity and select up to 5 again(you can select ONE clarity now) and IF this is your issue, you will be fine.

Not sure why the default is 5 clarity entries.

I'm guessing this is your problem since you said it happens about every 15 minutes. Pressing ALT+U will bring up the window for Tribute. The default setting is for 5 entries of Aura of Clarity. This is wrong and bugs your character if you click the enable button. It's nice to have super mana regen but it only lasts for 10 minutes until you are kicked.

To fix this, you must go to a Tribute Master and downgrade the 5 entries until you have nothing in your tribute window. Then if you choose to, you can add tribute effects back into your window normally.

I have never even messed with any of those, but how do I remove them? Where is the "master tribute" I see the 5 things of clarity.

If you don't know, then maybe this isn't the problem you are having. I had a problem where I went linkdead every 10 minutes because I enabled tribute, so I thought maybe this was your issue. Tribute Masters are in the starting cities of all characters. Right-clicking on the tribute master brings up the Tribute options window where you can upgrade or downgrade your tribute bonus. Use the Find option to search for a Tribute Master near you.
