Im trying to connect to the Emu servers but cant. I have a store bought Titanium and installed it fresh. I changed the host.txt
for [LoginServer]
Host=eqemulator.net:5998

And also changed "C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest\Eqgame.exe"

to "C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest\Eqgame.exe" patchme

I dont know what else to do ive spent hours looking through the forums looking for solutions but as soon as I hit enter at the ST/PW screen with the warewolf,
I get a message that A-Timed out Ocurred!!

Please help me..

Can try using this instead:
[LoginServer]
Host=64.251.21.39:5998

Other than that, maybe try bypassing your router and connecting directly to your modem. At least it will tell you the problem is with your router.

Also make sure you don't have a firewall running. And if you do need a firewall, make sure you allow access to the server and port listed in your eqhosts.txt.

Another reason you wouldn't be able to connect would be if you are connected to the internet through a proxy. Normally this happens at businesses or in college dorms. Many times proxies will block certain ports or IPs and there isn't much you can do about that other than contacting your system administrator. If you are connecting from your home, you don't have to worry about that being an issue.
