Thanks to one of the best coders I know, Ndnet , we have built a few systems to catch hackers.. This forum I have created is for server ops in all of eqemu to be aware of these hackers..

I have run my server now for over 7 years, and I investigate each one of these very carefully so you can take it to the bank that they are using Macroquest and or are willing to exploit the hell out of your hard work...

I don't know if this is legal, but can you post IP address? - this way the get banned everywhere

Well on the forums the Loginserver names are listed for these cheaters.. So can always use that..

It's fairly easy for these slugs to make new forum accounts and login server names. Posting a person's IP address is completely legal - internet anonymity is a myth; I have no clue why people buy into it.

IP is legal, Real name, address phone number, SS# etc makes the site liable if anyone steals there identity.

Well ok we can start posting IP addys too..

It's just as easy to get a new IP addy however.. To bad we can't post their MAC addys...

Would force them to have to buy a new router every time they get caught..

You can set MAC address manually in most routers. But it would mean they have to call their ISP to get them to release their old MAC and loc them into the new one. That is how most ISPs limit how many PCs you can have on one connection other than just allowing 1 IP.

Just adding this 1 character to the list. I highly suggest all servers ban these characters/accounts and block the IP.

This guy has been busted with 100% proof for breaking almost every rule on my server including macroing and warping. Not 1, not 2, but a total of 3 times! I banned his accounts each time and this last time I built a firewall rule to block his IP.

Note that this guy is the only guy I have banned on my server, so I am not quick to ban people. He openly admitted to me that he was one of the first people banned on EZ and on Zebuxoruk as well. I know for a fact that all of these accounts are his and that he cheats and lies as much as possible. I even tried to give this guy a 3rd chance after he swore he was going 100% legit, but I caught him warping just a few hours ago, lol.
