Eqlauncher.exe problem

Is what I get when I run world.exe in the cmd prompt window.

When I use the start.bat the first window disapears allmost instaniousley then soon after the press any button to continue key shows up I press any key and the cursor just keeps blinking. I would post my Log.ini file but there is nothing in the file.

you need to recompile it with the mysql 5 libraries or set mysql to use old passwords

You should be able to fix this with a simple entry into mysql by setting the old password.

Well I started the guide over useing the PDF useing the same version of all the programs he used. I am now geting this error as apposed to the privous one.



error #1049 hope fully this has easier solution. Again there is nothing in my log file.

That las one means the Egemu executables can't find PEQ in the MySql database. You got MySql permissions set up right and your eqemu_config.xml file pointing to it?

what happened was there was a typo in the guide in the compileing part it said pew instead of peq. I think I pretty much got it now

I noticed the guide had several typos too. Would be confusing to anyone who is setting up a server for the first time.
