Default No NPC's on localhost server

Hi, to keep this quick and simple, I created a localhost server (v. 3.3.4 or whatever the new one is) following the readme file and using the minilogon. I got it up running fine and was able to move around and create items, stats, guilds, etc, but there were no monsters or npcs anywhere. I had the sql database running, the minilogon, the world, and the boot5zone, just like in the readme.

I repopped the zone I was in (ecommons) but still nothing appeared. Anyone have an idea what I did wrong? When I created a server game on the eqemu.net login my world was full of monsters and npcs.

Also briefly, I had a lot of problems with being disconnected is there a way to fix it? And is there a way to control which zones are on and which are off? I was able to #zone from North Freeport to East Commons but after that anytime I tried to #zone it said that the zone wasn't currently available (or that it was down, I don't remember the exact message). Finally, is there a way to expand the item database? I was missing a lot of the higher level items when I was searching through the list.

Thanks, and sorry that this wasn't as short as I meant it to be!

EQEmu has never had spawns included.

If you want spawns you will have to visit the World Builders forum and find an add-on SQL database with spawns.

Support for the add-ons is completely up to the respective builder.

huh? if you have spawns when hosting your own server on the eqemu.net loginserver, then you have spawns when using minilogin. thay both use the exact same DB.

Spawns are not included with EQEmu. thay need to be imported via a addon DB.
