Hey. Yeah, testing do not play yet.. is my attempt at a classic server. Maybe I can give you an idea of what I'm working towards.
Goals for server:
Progression from classic - kunark - velious.
Legit
Accurate classic database
Original spell levels
Original exp penalties based on race/class combos
Original classes (no gnome paladins, etc)
Original spawn timers
Original zones.. old cazic thule, runnyeye, planar mobs. (Warrens etc disabled)
Prenerfed/removed items: In game until they were removed.. based approximately on the time it takes for progressing through the corresponding expansion
The most problems I've seen with the other classic emus was an inadequate amount of testing or bug fixes prior to release. No one wants to work for hours on a quest that doesn't exist or camp a mob that doesn't spawn. I have several people testing and submitting non classic features they encounter.
I haven't advertised the server much because I don't want to release an unfinished project. Any feedback, suggestions, or help are appreciated and I'll do my best to answer questions.
