Lightbulb Age of Empires colied with EMU read plz

Okay check this out ....

Every weekend or so my buddies use to come over ... and play AOE(II)

I have a modem with multiple ports on it .... now listen

.I have 3 computers in this room to use to AOE(II) it has always worked before , but ever since I went into my PORT forwarding with EQemu ... and it never worked again ... can someone explain why I cant play LAN/TCPIP connection on AOE I dont understand

ever since I messed with eqemu It doesn't want to work , so the only thing I can think of is that EQemu dicked with it ... even when I go into port forwarding and (un check) the enable It still wont function .... NO fire walls were on and it still wont run , and it didn't start happening till I did the port forwarding to make my server run , reguardless if my server is on or OFF it still wont work ... if anyone knows how to fix this please help

***quick verison***
I cant play LAN with AoE(II) and I dont know why , only thing if change for it not to work is PORT forwarding ever since I made that change it wont function

By default, AoE2 uses ports 2300-2400 and 47624-TCP. If you are using ports in these ranges for your emulated server, that would definately cause some excitement when it comes to connecting.

It shouldn't matter if he is trying to play AoE on LAN, it is all behind the NAT. The only thing I can think of is if you directed all traffic from your computer to outside the NAT somehow when you set up the port forwarding.

Doesn't matter if you're connected to each other with bluetooth, if you have another application on your host using the same port that Age of Empires is trying to hook, it will fail.
