Default Servers where you can lvl up/get best gear instantly

Hey all, I'm looking for a server where you can level up instantly, go to any zone instantly and kill all mobs pretty easily -- do any exist? (Just wanted to go to all the old zones I enjoyed back in the day and check em out without getting owned immediately)

Any recommendations would be great!

Instant Gratification servers are no fun !

Hehe but I can see how you would want to get that out of your system... Surely there is a server like this on the eqemu list...

I know hehe, just want to check out the high end stuff for old times sake.

I saw a few servers on the stickied list -- "Freedom, a work in progress etc," but these appear to have been down for a while.

EZ Server is always a good start. I swing by there from time to time.

He wants a non-legit server and EZ isn't non-legit. Many of the custom servers are highly accelerated leveling and drop rates in comparison to live. Unfortunately, for Non-Legit servers, players normally spend 2 or 3 hours on them and never play on them again. So, at most they have 1 or 2 people on them at any given time, which is why most of them are very short-lived.

There are a few that pop up from time to time, but most of them have restrictions of some sort. If you want full control, the only way is to make your own server. It can be pretty tough for a first timer to get a server running, but Leslamarch has a serverpack that simplifies it quite a bit.

With the repack and a titanium install you can be online and playing in however long it takes it to install. With a DB tweak you can GM yourself and head to infinity and beyond.

They do get pretty boring pretty fast.

I recommend the Irreverent server personally for a server of that type.

It was a week or two's play in it and is less tedious than some.

Some of these servers just spam loot at you and the trouble is you've levelled up for the next tier of zone while you're still trying to collect the armor set or w/e is there.

Generally the sign of a bad server is when the orcs in Crushbone are walking around with epic 1.0s. (Altho, the hidden forest looks interesting despite that, the guy is certainly ambitious if nothing else)

I'd like to see a good server that's designed for maybe 3 boxing level where the raid events are tuned to be groupable too. Having grinded on EQ for years I can't stand 1 x EXP or having to form a massive raid to beat something. But solo servers also just tend to be a gear check at the top end which is boring as hell.

Or worse than that, they have terribly tuned group content which defies the point of the server.

we are still beta, but thanks though there is always more behind the curtain.. what really matters is the overall content on any server. (getting anything on silver plate is no fun!)

Europa is open, and is non-legit with gm command access ...

You can check the database here :
