Default Low Melee Damage

I'm getting nearly no melee dmg on my server.
I have no idea why.

My rule_values look like this:
http://www.space21.de/rule_values.txt

Any hint please?

You'll need to provide some more details, such as what class, level, weapon, and what the damage you're seeing is.

I didn't see these rules in your list, so if you are low level then that is likely the problem since they would be using the default values.

RULE_INT ( Combat, HitCapPre20, 40)
RULE_INT ( Combat, HitCapPre10, 20)

For example an average sk 34 (all stats 130) with 16 dmg 2hs weapon hits for max 70 dmg.
Should be about 110 dmg I think.
Much, much more misses than on life is is also an issue.

Btw, when checking values ingame (#rules) it looks like these 2 lines are not in use.

70 dmg for lev 34 is actually VERY good - thats 4x the base
There is no way you could hit at 7x-8x the base at that level.
