Red69 Classic PVP Server Re-Opened.

Just a quick note to let old players know the server is back up. All character data is intact.

For new players interested in our server here is a little information about it:

Please Note Titanium client is required.

Server is Classic zones only.
No item loot at this time (subject to change).
No Boxing is permitted!
/who <zonename> Enabled for Players 46+
No PVP Point System.
PVP after lvl 10 (10 lvl range)
XP is Higher than classic (to get you into pvp faster)
IRC Bot with many features available
Jboots and Manastone reverted to a Classic State
** No Server Wipes. All Character data will remain indefinitely **
** Training is legal and a valid strat **

You can use our in house Login Server, or you can use the EQEMu LoginServer.

Tossed a new patch up today. As usual all of this information and more is located at http://www.eqpvp.com

Updated loot drop chances on many items
Enabled Boxing. Limit of 2 per IP. This change will take effect untill the pop reaches a stable level of 50+ non boxed toons on a consistant basis
Updated several spawn locations that were incorrect
Updated pathing on many mobs
Many performance updates to the database and code
Work almost completed on the IRC bot/Petition interface

And for those who are wondering about the name a little story for you:

Shortly after the launch of Kings and Bandits, I wanted to start work on a regular (no pvp points etc) PVP server using the same database as K&B. Everyone at that time kept talking about Red99. So as a joke I put my development server up with the name red69. After a while many people wanted to try it, so rather than come up with some random name for the server I just removed the lockout and let people join. Now I know the name isn't the best, but since its been so long I'll leave it as is, for now.

RED69 has gone through a name change. We are now Legacy of Zek.
