Default Clarification about patching, et all.

Okay....

First let me state that I have read damned near every thread in this entire forums....

I have followed all instructions with varying degrees of success.

What i need to know before I start banging my head up against this hopefully wonderful little emu again is this:

1 - I just patched the 'classic' eq I have this morning. (oct 28/2002)

2 - Am I screwed?

3 - where in the sweet hell is spells_en.txt. I dont have one.

I have a feeling my problem lays with which IP addresses I have where....which will be sorted out soon enough.

My goal is to experiment with the emu on a localhost access only machine. I am aware of the faw and help threads and files.

So....heads up from the devs please?

Whats the party line concerning eq 'classic' and what about patching this morning.

1. isnt a question =)

2. I dont think there has been a patch since the 24th (According to EQ's website) so that patch should be fine.

3. It is in your EQ directory. If not then patch and it will be. If its still not, look harder lol
