Default Error Loading server.

I get an error when I use the start.bat. Everything starts to load and I get "unable to load 'eqemu_config.xml': Error reading end tag." And all the windows disappear.

Any help resolving this issue is greatly appreciated!

Do you have a file named eqemu_config.xml in your server directory? What's in it?

Your mail server is using a "hose" instead of a "host" to connect.

I notice you are using eqemu login server. Are you set up to do so? If not I recommend using your localhost login server.

likely the problem, as that is specifically what his error stated.

That would be standard for a person who followed the windows setup guide. setting up the private login server takes a lot more work for a novice. There is no need to register a world server account in order to use the public login server, just it is better if you do to see stats and such.
