Default How do you setup different servers on one box?

I couldn't find anything on running more than one EQ server on the same box at the same time. I was wondering if it is as simple as creating a new EQEmuServer folder, coping all the files to it, creating a new db table set and editing the config files to point to the new db and new folder? My hardware should be fine since we have no more than eight people on at any given time.

I want to setup a classic EQ server as a test bed but still have my main server available for my players.

The other issue is that I run a private login server using Emu loginserver.

Would that cover it or is it harder than this? I have backups of my server but I would prefer not to hose things up just fumbling around with it.

Thanks in advance,
Mortow

Due to the fact the client will always be looking for the same port, you cannot run 2 servers on the same IP.

More specifically, what we call the world server, the client is hardcoded to use port 9000. So unless you modify the client, it needs to be port 9000.

I don't know if this is possible..just a random thought...

Could you run one on the LAN port and one on localhost..with localhost only being usable by, well, localhost? (localhost would be a non-external solo test bed.)
