have this emulator status page
like in UO emulators or something?

I don't think there is a status page but if you go to the IRC chat channel there's a command to see the status...I can't remember the actual command but I'm sure if you ask, they'll do it for you.

You can create a character profiling system and grab other information if that's any use.

I recommend you use PHP to read the data in the MySQL database. You can pick up PHP, Apache and MySQL for free and run them on windows and linux. Check out the server source code to find the location of the player information in the data blobs characters.
