Default Some Questions

Hello all,
First like to say
Very good work on this cool project. I have a few questions to ask if anyone has the time. This is my 1st venture with eq emu so they may be moronic, but i havent found a howto.

1. I setup a personal localhost server, (or will be). Once I log in how would i go about creating said character at
lvl I choose, gear,skills etc?
2. what do i need to do to goto "insert zone name here" and have "mob name here" spawn?
3. If i use eq emu, then quit eq emu, will my original EQ work online (with or without backup)?

If the answers to these questions are out there, and i overlooked them please just poing me the right way.
I tried the search function, which returned me about 27000 posts for each question.

thank you very much
Nova

1. create a character like normal EQ. Then if you have given yourself GM rights use the commands from the readme to level set skills and summon items you want.

2. Get a Database addon, see the DBAddon in the news section, or check the world builders forum.

3. If you patch your EQ when you want to run real EQ, it will always work. A seperate copy of EQ for eqemu is highly recomended though since you may patch to a version that breaks the emu.
