Can you log into eq live servers?
Are your video drivers up to date?
Can you get video using the patchme method to log on instead of EQ windows?

Find answers to these and it will help to narrow down the problem.

c:\progra~1\sony\everqu~1\eqgame.exe patchme

is most likely if that path you put up is correct.

I prefer the much easier windows method..

Explore your harddrive, find your EQ folder. Right click and drag eqgame.exe to your desktop, make a shortcut.

Rightclick on the shortcut : Properties

In the Target line, just add patchme to the line.

Hit OK

You now have a shortcut to the game...

I bought an HP laptop; it came with XP Home. Three days later I decided; either XP is going to go, or the laptop is going to go. I reformatted the HD and am typing this in Win2kPro. I WILL NOT use XP under any circumstances.

You can also use "path with 32-bit filename" patchme ie:

"c:\program files\sony\everquest\eqgame.exe" patchme

for reference TBH i prefer the old way with the ~1's .

OHHH dos i miss joo so much.
