Default Regarding my email (banned?)

Ok, I had tinkered with EQEmu a loong time ago. I even played on a server from you guys. I played for a total of about 3 days and never had any problems in game or on these forums. I go to register and it says THREE of my different email addresses were banned. I had only used one in the past. So I would like to know why exactly I was banned.

timemim@hotmail.com was the original email used

We banned all emails for new users from hotmail.com. If you had a forum account before, why are you making a new one? We can reset password and such (atleast I can) if you come to the irc channel and wait for me to get home.

This IS the same username I signed up before with. I tried lost password and said it did not exist. So I re-signed up and it kept saying my email address was banned. I only used timemim@hotmail.com so I am totally clueless as to how you banned my other email addresses. I ended up having to use my domain email because BANNED BANNED BANNED rofl.

what you can do is go to hitmail.com, and sign up for a free MSN e-mail if you want another.

Well, are you sure that it was this project you had your account with? The server has not been reset since we started it up (you might be thinking of the old login system). The forums are a year old, but we haven't had the login system tied to them for that long.

Did you miss that one guys.. dont go to hitmail (misspelled hotmail) and sign up for a new msn account. HOTMAIL = BANNED. Just go to yahoo and search for Free Email Account. you will get about 12,098 hits on sites that offer free email accounts. For now I am a link between www.castersrealm.com everquest forum players who wanted to know more about the eqemu banned accounts. I have been creating accounts for them by setting up an email at free email services and then registering them here. Yahoo isnt banned as far as i know, and they are pretty good at holding back alot of spam mail. So far ive had to help about 4 people with creating an account, but usually i just link them the yahoo address to register for free email and they can figure the rest out themselves.
