Default Please Help- World.exe Error

Hello,
As you might have guessed, I am quite new to EqEmu. I came from using EthernalQuest after hearing of EqEmu and how much farther along it was. However, I have been unable to get my server to work. I am using the minilogin setup for a private server. I have quadruple checked all of my files to make sure everything was correct.
Below is a list showing all the details of the error.

a) When I get to the character selection screen, world.exe crashes.
I get the message: World has preformed and illegal operation and must be shut down.

b) I am using Windows 98

c) I am using the latest version of EqEmu: 0.4.1

d) I am connecting using Minilogin, and have already got the fix for it.

e) I am trying both eqgame.exe patchme and eqw.

f) I am using beta 2.3 of eqw (the latest).

g) My last patch date was just the other day.

h) System Specs: 750 mhz, 384 mb ram, Nvidia Geforce 2 GTS Pro/64 mb, DSL Internet Connection, Soundblaster 5.1 Audigy Sound Card

With all of that in mind, I have gotten past many problems already (errors: 10061 and 1017), and now the only thing that isn't working is the world.exe error. Also, when I start up all of the programs (minilogin.exe, world.exe, boot5zones.bat) there are absolutely no errors.

I am looking forward to getting this emu working, so any help would be greatly appreciated. And I'm sorry if I rambled on too long.

Sincerely,
J.D.

Daryth, how does that fix it? Its funny that the website has a link to the new minilogin now that was compiled by us, and a 10061 error is a Connection Refused, not an eq client error....

How did you fix the 1017 error? Any help appreciated. I have tried both of the other posts for the 1017 error. Firewalls are not on, my ports are open, and everything is configured properly.

Sys Specs:
AMD Athlon XP 2100+
Geoforce 4 TI4600 128MB Graphics Card,
Soundblaster Audigy X-Gamer Sound Card,
1024MB DDR PC2700 RAM,
100Gig Western Digital 7200RPM Harddrive,
And AT&T Cable lines with the RCA Cable Modem.

I have used previous versions and am familiar with the setup process, but for some reason I cannot get rid of that 1017 error. Any help appreciated.
