Default Login spawning in mid-air.. any ideas?

Hey guys, this is a prob I haven't gotten knocked out yet.. just got eqemu going, but every time I attempt to spawn, I find my spawn point being placed very high above the zone... and landing on my head. I captured the text output from zone.exe re: that zone, and got this:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Loaded playerprofile for Alyssia - size: 8460/8460
Loaded alt_adv_table for Alyssia - size: 258/258

It was supposed to be due to the safepoint loc. So i changed them (just the Z access wichi have to be -183.9). But, even so, every time i zone from outside to sharvhal (spawn or #zone command), i fall to death. If i'm inzone and do "#zone s" to goto safepoint, it works well ...

Well, yes... but how does one go about defining zone points? (I haven't got much experience with worldbuilding n.n)

Nira: there were zonepoints in my db for Sharvhal. but wrong one. So i change them, as i said in the other post, but the problem subsists.

I have attempted to change the zone points and safe points in the database. The problem as far as I see it is that this has no effect whatsoever. The only way the seems to be any change as far as this problem goes is to adjust the raw zone point data via packet collection.
It would be nice if there was some way to edit the raw data as it seems to be this field that the emu depends on during zoning. Once inside the zone. The in-database locs work then.
Basically, the fix here IMHO is either packet collection and/or some way to edit the raw zone data BLOBs.

P.S.: If I'm totally incorrect about all this please correct me by posting a working fix...
