Default got irc fix, still having issues

fullscreen mode, loads to just before char select switch and then drops to desktop, is this an emu/client mismatch error thats being worked on or is it something i can fix? :|

It sounds like a DB problem if you got the EQfix. Did you edit anything with the FQAdmin (or edit anything at all with any tool for that matter)?

heh, i'm trying to connect to the "main" server in the eqemu.net list
the something hacker or hacker something one, with like, 30ish people on at a given time :|

In that case I would say to repatch EQ then get the EQfix from the #eqemu IRC channel.

patch
eqfix
drop to desktop

:(

*edit: not using eqw, though i did try it that way too

Did you move your xml files in the eqfix file to your uifiles directory with the other xml files that you use?

yeah, copied the xmls and the image to the uifiles\default\

no work :\

Do you have the VB Runtime libraries installed? If so, try running: http://www.cyberjunky.net/eqemupatcher.zip

That is a beta program. Just unzip it to your eq directory and run "patch.exe" and see if it does anything.

uhm, this doesn't have dr3, which is what the tag on the server says o_O

was having the same problem. dunno where i found the solution but someone suggested to keep the eqpatched xml files and not replace them with the ones on the fix... it worked for me

well DR3 is just that, a developer's release . It's not going to necessarily work right.

i can't seem to connect to any of the servers on the eqemu server list :( even with the fix

Well, now that the eqemu patcher is available for download, the eqfix isnt necessary anymore. Head over to the main page and grab/install the patcher. It fixed my problems, so it should probably fix yours.
