Default error's when starting latest version EQEMu-0.4.2-Win32

im getting many lines in the world and zone windows that say

Error in LoadVariables query 'SELECT varname, unix_timestamp<> FROM variables where unix_timestamps<ts> >= 0' Uknown column 'ts' in 'where clause'

does this mean there is something buggy with it ? seems like this is the unix zip version with a win32 zip name ?

i can load everything normally and login and select server make new char or select existing one but when it goes to load the zone the zones window's spam that error and it kicks back to the server select.. just wondering if anyone else has gotten this error

also downloaded the patcher thing and still does this.

If you upgraded from 4.1 or an earlier version you need to drop your current DB and replace it with the db.sql that came with the 4.2 binaries.

Did you add in your eqemu account into the DB after drop/re-source?

Else you could also try Telmet's as I mentioned in response to your post in News.

Default =\

ok did what you said canned old db and sourced new db with the one included in latest zip added all the item and other junk yada yada .. i load minilogin ,world, and boot5zones everything load like it should. i load eq via eqw or the patchme, get to server select hit enter it loads to char screen, i make a new char, it shows up, i click enter world, then it loads for a little bit and then one of the 5 zone windows just goes away without any chance of seeing any message as to what happens but there is a few lines in world.exe window that reads as follows

(world.exe)

logged in: local:eqemu

and also manaaged to hit the printscreen button to save a screenshot of the zone files text just before it closes which says :

Default Same Problem

Im getting the same problem as Deeque. I have tried recreating the database, and I have double checked all my ini's to make sure that they all have the right info in them. I have even been able to create a char, log out, and with an admin tool change his lvl and gear, log back into the char. select screen and see the changes, but still get booted before I make it into the world. Any help would be great. And also, in my Eqemudebug.log, everytime I get this error:

2003/02/18 01:08:56 GMT: Zone 7997 crashed. Errorcode: 4/5. Current zone loaded:rivervale. Current clients:1. Caused by: Mrpop

Any suggestions?

Default FIXED!!!

I fixed my problem and I'm in the game atm. What I did was was add a 0 in the lsaccount_id field. It was blank before.

What file contains the lsaccount_id field that you can edit?

Default sigh

if you load up the admin tool and click on the accounts tab and then drag the bottom scroll bar all the way to the right you will see it just click in the box and hit 0 and enter

i have did that on mine but still seem to have the booting to server still. i keep thinking about those unknow opcodes and that error unknow compression type ... going to re download the emu and db's and stuff and start over and if that dont work ill just have to mess around with 4.1 updating zone point or something ;(

Default HHOO F'n RAYY

woot!! finally got 4.2 to work lol..

here is what i did

i just took my working 4.1 database that i was playing with because 4.2 didnt work at the time and i only changed 2 things in that database and it was:

1) open up mysql
b) USE EQ;
c) ALTER TABLE variables ADD COLUMN ts timestamp NULL;

d) optional if you havent done this to your old 4.1 db is the add source in the resists table from this link
http://forums.eqemu.net/viewtopic.ph...ht=resists+sql i had already added that to my working 4.1 version and it didnt seem to hurt it any.

then..

2) open up Admin tool ( i have 3.8 )

b) on accounts tab line 1 drag bottom scroll bar all way to the right
and in the second to the last column called "isaccount_id" if it is blank just click in the box and type zero and HIT enter. there was another line below it with my user name pass and that was blank as well but i left it blank because it seemed that it only stored the char in the first one "eqemu" anyways.

c)click on COMMIT CHANGES

shut down minilogin and world and zones if running and restart it and it should work i even logged into the new version 4.2 with the guys i was playing with on 4.1 hehe
