Unknown opcodes are fairly normal, they just indicate a code sent by the client the server doesnt recognize. In some cases it can indicate youre using a version of the client that the server cant handle. Have you used the patcher?

Hello, I'm getting the exact same error.

I have ran the patcher program, and I'm running 4.2 with Drawde's Database. I can zone into some zones, but others will crash my client, then I can't log in my character no matter what. I have to move him to another zone that works :\

When it crashes out, it gives me that error that he posted.

I've noticed alot of errors on zoning in have to do with errors in the safe spots.

One example was befallen. Changed the -8xx value to a +30, and I was able to log into the zone.

Perhaps we can get Drawde to look into this and fix his database

I am getting something similar. When I get to char select, I choose Enter World and it goes to the EQ splash screen, the quits to the server select. It also usually crashes the EQW after a minute or so.

I only get : unknown opcode 0x3541 size 2056 ; 0x3941 size 2056 ; inflatepacket: inflate - unknown compression method.
Then attempting autobootup of 'erudnext' for Player
It goes through enter world, broadcasts the world time update, then I see "Zoneserver connection lost: erudnext 127.0.0.1:1195
Removing zoneserver: erudnext. Client disconnected.

Any suggestions? Try a different start zone maybe?

And an unrelated question - how do I incorporate one of the databases? I just used the one that came with 0.4.2.
