0016 error , wrong pw or login

here's the probleme , i tried near a undread of times to login eq with my forums acc name pw , with all ok ever majuscules , i ever tried to test with other accs ... but no way :\
plz help :(

edit : i maked a scearch before but the post i found don't solve my pb because when i launch eq it change the eqhost automaticaly

Are you running the EQ patcher after changing eqhost?

If you run the EQ patcher and not EQWindows - it'll wipe your changes to eqhost.

how can i launch the gapme without everquest .exe ? (it auto patch when start)
