Default EQ crashes when logged in

hi!

I've just downloaded the 2.5 gigs of patches and applied them.
I used eqemu to patch and launch the game, all right.
I log in a eqemu server (the legit one).
still ok, it charges models and so on
but, once I am supposed to be in the game, EQ closes and brings me back to the desktop, without EQ running anymore.

what's the matter? I think it's graphic card/drivers related problem, but I'm not shure... I'm using a GeForce2 mx200 (hum...), atjlon xp 2000+, 512 ddr, win xp pro spi1a, detonator 43.00, directx 9...
all other recent games are working fine.

please help me

Default

well, here is my full config

win xp pro sp1a
512 ddr
gf2 mx200, 32 mb sdr
1024/128 dsl line
eqemu 0.4.1
patched tonight using an xml parser
first time i' m running eq, never installed before
logging in the "legit" server (the one in green)
launching the game using EQ emu patcher and clicking "run eq" box

when i donwloaded the patches by using sony's xml file converted to html (thanks flashget), it was unable to find on sony's server and to download some files (some *.txt.gz, *.xml.gz, *.tga.gz, *.dds.gz, *.html.gz)
is it normal or is it possible the problem comes from that?
if so, how to get these damn files???
