Default In-game spawns?

After recently getting this thing to work I managed to use the #spawn command to make a few creatures. My question is:

Why aren't the level spawns in there already? I have run mySQL.exe and loaded spawns.sql into the eq database - 9/10 the lines have errors though. I use Telmets 4.3 database addon.

Can someone please tell me how I can get the monsters so they are all in the zones when I zone in? i.e, I zone into Sleepers Tomb and all the crystlline gargoyle things are there. All the online servers seem to have spawns in just the same as EQLive...is it something to do with my database? If so, should I wait until Drawde releases his v4.3 compatible release and load that in...hopefully fixing everything?

Thankie,

Monrezz

Hmm, I think Drawde is releasing a 4.3 compatible database around 20th March (3 days time). Will this add in-game spawns?

I'm having the exact same problem. I didn't think I would have to spawn each mob in each zone, that would take hours. I wanted it to appear like a real live server(trying to play on LAN only). I always thought there would be a command to respawn the whole zone, but i guess not.

Let me now if you find a complete database, or if I'm doing something wrong.

if you are in GM mode, you could try the #repop command ingme?

On my server it works like a charm and every single mob is in its place

#repop only reloads mobs from the database...I don't think I have the spawns in my database so that's why they're not in there ( :!: ).

I'll wait patiently until Drawde releases his new database, hopefully fixing everything.

Will this new one overwrite existing data? I sourced in some files...so when I source in the new database I wont get 10 minutes of duplicate entries will I?

If so, tell me how to remove the previous files from the database  .
