Default zone causes illegal error

I managed to get my local server up and going even with my severe technical handicap Everything works well except not long after I log on zone creates an illegal error and boots me to char select. This usually happens in less than 2 mins so it get to be a big pain. Tried the search function but couldn't think of a way to search it that I got less than 70+ pages of stuff and I gave up after about the fifth page

This is the details in illegal error if it means something to someone hehe. If you've had this problem or know the cause of it please respond... thanks

ZONE caused an invalid page fault in
module ZONE.EXE at 0167:00494290.

Make sure you have all the Microsoft updates, directx 8 or higher, and service packs installed for win 98. Also you could be running out of memory causing your page file to become corrupted.

After you have checked the updates and still have the problem then one of the developers here may be able to help with your problem.

Good Luck

I actually found the solution to the problem in a totally unrelated thread ;p needed to copy spells_en.txt to eqemu folder and reboot. Thanks for the help though
