Default Where is EQEMU for dummies section please ?

Most of what I read here is beyond me. If someone has a link to setting this all up that would be great. Step by step info would be best (dummy instructions) or if anyone can post how to do it here that would be great.
Here is what I have done :
1. I have all expansions enabled on my computer
2. I have backed up my EQ folder
3. I have registered with you guys and activated my account (obviously)
4. Thats it
5. Dont flame me please. Just starting out and it seems a bit out of my league of computer knowledge.

I am running on windows XP.
Thanks
Mat

If your wanting to run your own server do everything on this page first.

If you run into any trouble I am sure someone here will know how to help. If all you wanna do though is just play the game online then click the big button for retards and it will tell ya how.

OK the readme file wasnt coming up from the first sticky inthis forum. Anyway I found it at the main site. Here is what I did and here is my problem now

1. I followed all 4 steps. I DLed everything and installed each program in my EQ folder.
2. When I click on EQW to start it up it goes to the first screen on everquest. You know the ACCEPT or DECLINE screen. I hit accept to move on and then EQW comes up in a window with a black screen. Nothing else happens after that. EMU is ready to go and everything.
THanks
Mat

Not sure, but from what I have read so far from others with a simular problem is that they solved it by running EQ with the patchme method first and then did it with EQW. Like for example C:\Program Files\Everquest\eqgame.exe patchme or whatever directory you are using, but you get the jist of it. Run it that way first and make sure everything is running fine and then try it with EQW.
You may find an answer in the emulator or EQW forums on this board if you don't find a solution here.

I would have posted EQW's board also, but I assume you know that one already if your using EQW. LOL!!!!

Hope this helps ya some mate.

Use the eqw version listed below. 2.35a is for current EQ. 2.32 is for current eqemu.
