Default Compiling EQEMu-0.4.4-DR1 help

Ok went and downloaded the 0.4.4-DR1 source from http://www.darkangel.net/eqemunews/ and the makefile in the main directory after the extract seems to do all the things needed to install it.. but when I type make i get this error

Code:
[root@localhost source]# make
(cd EMuShareMem && make)
make[1]: Entering directory '/eqemu/source/EMuShareMem'
', needed by `all'. Stop.ke target 'libEMuShareMem.so
make[1]: Leaving directory '/eqemu/source/EMuShareMem'
make: *** [EMuShareMem/libEMuShareMem.so] Error 2
[root@localhost source]#
yea, i don't understand what the problem is. I'm only slightly familiar with linux, and when i downloaded the source for 0.4.3 there wasn't even a makefile in the EMuShareMem folder :( i don't know where to go from here, anybody that could give me a nudge in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

thx,
n8

EDIT: some mispellings

Get the code directly from cvs, look on the sourceforge pages for the project for instructions.
