Default The Big EQ2 Secret (and an EverQuest II PreReview)

Apparently the big justification for all the changes in EQ2 is this...
Luclin blew up due to this big collision or something.

If you got 15 minutes and broadband... You can see / laugh at the SOE showing at http://new-www.crgaming.com/interviews/eq2.zip (approx 50mb) . Be sure to watch the screen for video lag... There's tons of it... Especially around their new motion capture NPCs... That game should be a hoot around a major raid / performances if this goes unfixed.

Other points...
-Some of the old zones that weren't available (nektropos) are now zones in EQ2...
-Freeport now looks like a city found in Anarchy Online.
-Naggy is in Nektropos now.
-Every city except Freeport/Qeynos is serverely damaged / destoryed.
-Ratmen (not affiliated with Scruffy the Tyrant of Time) are now in the game.
-Quest system now uses a dialog tree system like EQOA / NWN.

I think its pretty impressive, the ground and the ceiling shook when they went into nagafens lair and you could see dust come from the ceiling.

Wow, looks awesome. I might actually play. Graphics are really nice too. Although even sonys pc had some lag. Well, we will see. I must admit though, the developers looked scary.
