Q) When Patching, patchsrv.dat cannot be found...?
A) That is a patcher connection file. This happens when ports are blocked, either by you (firewall) or by your internet provider. Either unblock ports 7000, 5999, 5998, and 9000, or you'll have problems. If caused by your ISP, contact them and ask them to open those ports.

How do i unblock those ports? pfft.. i aint calling my ISP, i know theres another way.

If your ISP is blocking it, you have to call them unless they gave you control of their system. I've yet to hear of an ISP blocking ports unless they are run on a campus. If that's the case, you might be in my shoes and will have to just borrow someone else's internet for a while.
