Default Can't run EQEmu - Run Time Error

Cannot run EQEmu! Oh my god! Well..here's the problem...

When I try to run the patch program, it says "Run Time Error '70'
Permission Denied"

When I try to run it using EQWindows, it loads to the EULA screen and then after I click I Accept, it goes to a blank screen, and goes no further.

I'm using all the current things, and in fact it was working yesterday.

What's Wrong?

Edit: Now when I hit I Accept, eqw closes, leaving me with no EQ at all.

Edit2: I downloaded the mdac, dunno what it did..

For the error 70, kill patch.exe in your process list. If you don't know how to do this, you can reboot the machine - long route, but works.

yes, every time I shutdown the app w/o doing it properly, it stays in the memory and causes that error, like he said, you need to kill the process... or reboot.

As for black screen, use eqw 2.32 . I'm willing to wager you're using 2.35a.
