These zones are part of the old world (on Odus) however they are not on my EQ CD
(Ruins of Kunark, I bought it last year) and are not downloaded by the auto-patcher.
Are they part of one of the expansion packs (Velious or Luclin?) I thought they were
"bonus" zones added as part of a patch, but if this was the case presumably they would
be auto-downloaded.
I am NOT asking for "warez" here, I'm just curious as to why I don't have these zones since
they're not part of one of the expansion continents.

Drawde they are optional zones. You would need to open up the auto patcher and tell it to patch optional zones.

If, for some strange, unknown reason, you can't simply copy the files from a currently patched live version of EQ, simply run the file OptPatch.exe and it will DL the option files... Might not necesarrily DL to the same folder that it's run from, but it will work. (For some reason, it's patching the files for me event hough I don't actually need it)

Otherwise, just run the patch program and check the box next to "Optional files" Under the advanced stuff in the patcher.
