EQEMu Not Working

**UPDATE**
DR3 has been released - September 22, 2003. Please read news posts for more info.

If you are new, you cannot play EQEMu at this time. There is no magic work around.

This question has been asked several dozen times over the past few days, even though the answer is available in the FAQ section.

THERE IS NO WAY TO PLAY EQEMU RIGHT NOW IF YOU ARE NEW:
* Reinstalling EQ WILL NOT WORK
* Only installing certain expansions WILL NOT WORK
* Hopping on one foot while patting your head WILL NOT WORK
* Asking anyone to send you files WILL NOT WORK
* Patching to EQLive WILL NOT WORK

Please stop asking, there is nothing you can do at this time.

bah dont worry about it not working. by the time they get it fixed, theres gonna be like 40 other awesome mmorpgs on the market *cough* horizons *cough*. of course, theres no feeling like porting to good old field of bone or west commons with your lvl 65 iksar rogue after not playing it for a year. just curious, is the eqemu devs planning on emulating any future mmorpgs?

i serverly doubt it, most of the devs if not all love eq or they wouldnt be doing this project. if they moved onto a new emu that would kill the purpose. now i know the quality devs do is awesome but dont cha think someone else out there would want to make an emu for somethin else and let the eqemu dev team to work here to continually upgrade eqemu and make it awesome. if im wrong so shoot me, but i dont think so
