only problem with that is i have a good puter, but the HD is rather small...im pushing every last Meg to its limit with what i have on here already. *covershis face* only have 7 gigs total...i know....its awful. well i guess ill wait for 5.0 to release if there's no way for me to get the files after Aug. 26th...maybe ill search the web and find a .zip that can update from 4.4 to 5.0 kinda like what i got for the 4.4 files now. thanks for the advise.

Would you happen to have a CD burner? I often move things to a CD to save them and get them off my hard drives. You could even split up your eq folders and put them on cd, then copy the one you need in when you want to play.

Maybe I should try making one of these servers...

no, i wish i did have a CD burner, but i have seemed to be lacking in motivation every time i think about getting one...dont have enough energy to get out of the Lay-z-Boy, or cant muster the power to wrench away from the computer screen. and on a personal note, i played your server before and i must say that it was one of the best ones out there, i hope you plan to keep it running with 5.0, anyways, gotta go, checking prices of a bigger HD.

MY system specs.

PII 400
512/pc133 ddr ram
7.15 GB Ultra ATA HD at 5600 RPM
32 Meg NVIDIA GForce 3 MX 400
15 inch .28 dot pich KDS monitor
16 bot sound
ATX Motherboard capable of a PIII 700 max on CPU
playing EQ and other games on Cable connection

Now you know my problems with file size and the such.
